Unlimited iPhone Downloads Of Music, Movies, Videos, TV Shows And Games

So I’m sitting here on a library of matroska video files. I’d like to convert them to put them on my iPhone, but I have no clue what video formats iPhone supports.

3gp seems a little too old school for my purposes (resolution sucks).

All my music from my iphone is already on another computer but i recently got a macbook so i was wondering if i could sync my iphone music to my laptop itunes? help! direction is there is a way please!
