How can I find out what version iphone software I have?

I have the original iphone, and it’s unlocked so I dont want to update it or it will brick, but some games require at least version 2.0, so how do I find out if I have that or not?

    Go into your iPhone

    Settings > General > About > Look down the list, should be the 7th one down "Version." The latest is 2.2.

    Either you just try and see if they work or you go into your settings, general info (I think it’s called that, I have my german version) and then Info or About or something like that.

    In there it tells you quite a bit of stuff about your iPhone, including the firmware version.

    I wouldn’t even worry about getting it bricked. You can buy those unlocking sim cards now that will never brick your iPhone.
