Since I updated the iphone software, the mywi tethering app is gone and I can't connect to the 3G network.?

I’ve been tethering my iphone with the mywi app. I updated my iphone software and now the app is gone and I can’t connect to the 3G network. I am able to connect to wi-fi without a problem. I’ve tried rebooting, resetting all settings and resetting network settings. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

1) try toggling Airplane Mode on and then back off
2) if that doesn’t work, go to settings > general > network and make sure "enable 3G" and "Cellular data" are enabled
3) If that doesn’t work check the site below in the sources and follow the steps.
I had the same problem on my phone, apparently it occurs when you upgrade a jailbroken phone to 4.0 without restoring first. I did step 3 and it fixed my data problem and preserved everything on my phone.
